Obtrusive Sleep Apnea and the Layman
Obtrusive Sleep Apnea is a known sleeping disorder distinguished by the pauses of breathing during a person's sleep. A person unconsciously misses a breath or few with a minimum of ten seconds for each interval. Because of this, the person feels rather tired even after being awake.

Subjectively because there are some countries which allow the easy access of these devices and there are countries which require at least your physician's prescription. These devices are also not cheap, so when you do get prescribed to use one, think about the long term goals of this treatment. Meaning, see if it's possible to rent or buy it and if it will best serve you in the course of the treatment.
Also, just like most medical equipment, these CPAP nasal masks are easily maintainable. If you want to maximize your treatment as well as your use of this device, it is adviced to do not only daily maintainance but also on a weekly basis to check for "wear and tear" of regular usage.
Better Safe than Sorry with CPAP Nasal Masks
Do you really want to walk into work looking as though you had a rough night? Do you really want to fall asleep in the middle of an important meeting just because your eight-hour sleep doesn't seem as "enough" as it should be?
